Turning Point Psychotherapy & Wellness
Description
Sydney Beaulieu is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and the founder of Turning Point Psychotherapy & Wellness, offering both in-person and virtual therapy services. She works with children, teens, adults, and first responders, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relational trauma, life transitions, and many more!
Sydney specializes in trauma-informed care and nervous system regulation, helping clients understand how their experiences live in both the mind and body. Her approach is primarily rooted in Emotion-Focused Therapy, while integrating evidence-informed modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, somatic approaches, and Internal Family Systems-informed work. She also has a strong focus on play therapy, using developmentally appropriate and creative interventions to support emotional processing and regulation in children and youth.
Sydney is also passionate about working with first responders and individuals who have adapted to high-stress environments. She supports clients in shifting away from shutting down or overriding their internal experiences, and instead building a more aware, regulated, and compassionate relationship with themselves.
At the heart of Sydney’s work is a genuine commitment to meeting clients where they are. She aims to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and collaborative, where clients can gently explore their experiences, build insight, and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
