Wellness Waves Psychotherapy

Wellness Waves Psychotherapy offers compassionate, evidence-based therapy for youth aged 15+ and adults both in person and virtually. Led by Brittany McCrea, a Registered Psychotherapist, the practice supports clients through anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and finding direction. Brittany primarily uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which are branches of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
With a special focus on anxiety disorders—including OCD, phobias, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, hoarding, body dysmorphia, and body-focused repetitive behaviours (BFRBs) —Wellness Waves Psychotherapy helps clients learn new ways of relating to difficult thoughts and feelings, rather than struggling to control them. Using an approach grounded in acceptance, mindfulness, and values-based action, clients are supported in building psychological flexibility so they can move toward the life they want to live.
